The heart is a fascinating organ and I wanted to draw an anatomically correct heart for a Valentine’s card to my wife one year. Yes, I am a nerd. I used an illustration that I had made for a poster on a congenital heart defect called TAPVR and PAPVR that I presented at a cardiac imaging conference. I only had to make some tweaks to my original illustration and I pretty happy with the final “I heart you.”
