It has been ages since I last drew a cartoon. I stopped drawing cartoons partially because I was busy, partially because my son broke my Wacom Tablet pen that I use to draw my cartoons, but the biggest reason I quit drawing cartoons was because I was too lazy.
A recent Twitter phenomenon of posting dialogue of people’s responses to what you do for a living inspired this cartoon. I drew this cartoon using my Microsoft Surface with a program called Clip Studio Paint Pro. I had been using Adobe Illustrator on my Mac, but I wanted to give this program a shot.
The cartoon is fairly primitive as I am still learning how to use the software. I anticipate that as I get more familiar with the program, the quality of future cartoons will improve. That’s assuming that I get over my laziness and find time to make some more cartoons in the future.
